The members of the Association of design oriented furniture agencies (ADM) also know that a clear positioning of every company is essential for sustainable success. At this year's autumn conference, everything revolved around the future of the agencies and the added value of the ADM for its members.

Questions such as “What do manufacturers and customers expect from a professional agency” or “How can agents cooperate with one another” ensured an intensive discussion and consideration of the right means and ways. It turned out again that the synergy effects for manufacturers, dealers and architects are among the unique selling points of a contemporary sales agent. "Many manufacturers who have worked with sales employees in recent years are now relying on the competence of agents again," reports Andreas Römer, a member of the ADM since 2017.

On the second day, the content-related positioning of the working group was in the foreground. With the help of Martin Schenk, owner of a company for advertising and management consultancy, the USP of the agencies present, but also the ADM, was worked out in workshops and discussions. The main question was what the association stands for and what the added value is for its members and interested parties. However, both topics are so complex that no final result can be achieved at a single conference.

Therefore, the content orientation and positioning will be further refined by the next spring
meeting on May 13 and 14, 2022 in Munich and finalized there with all members. "Anyone who, as a sales agent, is interested in becoming a member of the ADM and would like to
experience the conference as a guest without obligation, is cordially invited to our next meeting," adds Andreas Bloy, Chairman of the ADM.
